If you think you are free from parasites or toxins, think again. Simply by living, we are exposed to toxins in food and water, as well as in the air we breathe. Parasites can infest virtually every part of the human body. The World Health Organization estimates that one quarter of the world's population suffers from chronic intestinal parasite infections, and recent medical research suggests three out of five North Americans will be infected by parasites at some point in their lives. Your body, like your house, needs routine cleaning. The everyday debris of food, toxins, and parasitic infections needs to be swept away. We can't avoid the reality of parasites or toxins, but we can limit their potential damage by minimizing the length of time they remain in our bodies.
