- Take 1/2 cup of raisins and 1/3 cup of sugar.

- Always use a humidifier which helps to increase the moisture in your room and makes you to sleep well with less coughing or no coughing. But make sure that to use sterile water for the machine.
- Take vitamins A and C which are powerful antioxidants and helps to build your immune system to fight against cough and clears up your cough.
- Put small salt on small and fresh ginger piece and chew them which helps to moisten the throat and soothe irritation.
- Eat grapes regularly or drink grape juice along with a tablespoon of honey daily to get relief from the dry cough. It also helps to soothe your throat.
- Soak 10 almonds in night and take out the brown skin in the next morning. Grind these almonds to make a fine paste and insert 20 grams of sugar and butter each to the paste. Take this twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
