1. Remedy for Itchy Scalp with Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV):

Apple cider vinegar contains powerful anti-inflammatory properties which help to kill the virus and yeast that causes itchy scalp. It also having the property of balancing the pH levels of the scalp to clear the itchiness and dryness and makes your hair to glow dandruff free.

Process:
  1. First of all, rinse your hair and scalp with water and let it dry completely.
  2. Take equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water.
  3. Mix both these ingredients well and pour it in an empty spray bottle.
  4. Then you can apply this solution directly on your scalp by using cotton ball or you can spray in onto your scalp and massage it for few minutes.
  5. Let it sit for 15 - 20minutes by putting a towel around your head and finally wash it off with shampoo and normal water.
  6. Follow up this process for once or twice a week to get complete relief from the itchy scalp.

2. Remedies for Itchy Scalp with Tea Tree Oil:

Tea tree oil has powerful natural antifungal, anti-inflammation and antibacterial properties which help to treat itchy scalp.

Process – 1:
  1. Take 10 – 20 drops of tea tree oil and add it 1/2 cup of baby shampoo
  2. Mix it well and use this daily to shampoo your hair
  3. Repeat the process until your condition of the scalp improves and get relief from the itchy scalp.
Process – 2:
  1. Take 2 – 3 drops of tea tree oil and dilute it in a tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  2. Massage with this mixed oil on your scalp which helps to unblock your hair follicles and give relief from itching.

3. Remedy for Itchy Scalp with Aloe Vera:

Aloe vera contains anti inflammatory and moisturizing properties which helps to give relief from the dryness and itchiness on your scalp.

Process:
  1. Take a fresh aloe vera leaf and squeeze it gel and apply it on your scalp with the help of your fingers.
  2. Let it stay for about 15 – 20 minutes and then wash it off with mild shampoo and water.

4. Remedy for Itchy Scalp with Coconut Oil:

Coconut oil acts as a barrier which keeps your scalp moisturized and reduces dryness which in turn reduces the itching.

Process:
  1. Wash your hair to make your scalp clean and let it dry properly.
  2. Take few drops of coconut oil and apply it by rubbing on your scalp i.e. it has to cover the entire scalp.
  3. Leave it to sit for at least 30 minutes and wash it off with a shampoo that has to be perfume free.
  4. Three times a week, you have to follow this process for best results over itchy scalp.
  5. Or you can gently heat the coconut oil and add this to your shampoo before rinsing your hair.

5. Remedy for Itchy Scalp with Baking Soda:

Baking soda exfoliates the scalp and prevents dandruff which is caused by overactive fungi. It relieves the itchy scalp with its natural properties.

Process:
  1. Take few drops of olive oil and apply it on your itchy scalp
  2. Rub the oil for few minutes
  3. Take a tablespoon or two of baking soda and mix it well by adding enough amount of water.
  4. Apply this thin paste directly onto your scalp and let it soak in scalp for 10 – 15 minutes.
  5. Rinse it well with water and repeat it to get better results.

6. Remedies for Itchy Scalp with Lemon Juice:

Lemon contains antiseptic properties and vitamin C which helps to treat an itchy and dry scalp. It is also helps to treat dandruff.

Process – 1:
  1. Take fresh lemon juice and apply this thoroughly by massaging on your scalp
  2. Allow it to stay for five minutes and rinse it off with water
  3. Then again rinse it with one cup of water and a teaspoon of lemon juice.
  4. Remember that lemon juice will lighten your dark hair and also sting the broken skin.
  5. Regularly repeat this remedy until your symptoms subside.
Process – 2:
  1. Take a small amount of lemon juice and yogurt and mix it well
  2. Apply this on your scalp and let it be on for few minutes.
  3. Wash your hair with mild shampoo and repeat this at least daily once until you get relief from the itchy scalp.

7. Remedy for Itchy Scalp with Sesame Seed Oil:

Sesame oil contains highly nourishing, lubricating and healing properties which helps to heal the itchy scalp.

Process:
  1. Take some amount of sesame seed oil and heat it gently.
  2. Apply this warm oil onto your scalp and massage it gently with your finger tips for about 10 – 15 minutes at night time before going to bed.
  3. Make sure to wrap your head in a hot towel before going to bed and let it be on for 10 minutes and then take it off the towel.
  4. Doing this process will allows the oil to remain in the scalp for overnight and helps to provide the essential moisturizer to your scalp.
